About

Bill McLaughlin studied and worked with Del Close in Chicago and was part of his early long form experiments in the development of the Harold. He went to be a co-founder of The Chicago City Limits, New York’s longest running comedy revue, and also performed with New York’s First Amendment Improv Company, the first American improvisational company to perform at the Edinburgh International Theatre Festival. While Director of Improvisational Studies at The Manhattan Comedy School, Bill's student productions were performed at Carolines On Broadway. In the Philadelphia area he teaches at Bucks County Community College and is a member of The Bucks County Playhouse Conservatory faculty. He has produced and directed shows locally at such venues as The Philadelphia Ethical Society, New Hope's John & Peters and numerous college venues. The members of Deleted Scenes (2011 National College Improv Tournament Mid Atlantic Regional Champions), Angry People Building Things, and Kait & Andrew are all Bills former students. When not teaching Bill uses his improvisational and writing skills to produce entertainment in the international corporate sector as a writer, director and performer for Trade Shows, National Sales Meetings, Team Building and Product Launches.
